There is a new Hotel just opened up last week in Erie PA.
It is called the "Spring Hill Suites".
The Room's are (2) doubles and a sleeper sofa ( 6 to a room if needed) $129.00
or (1) King and a Sleeper Sofa (sleep 4) $129.00
Along with your room, everyone in the room gets a Hot Buffet Breakfast. ( we can go light on the tailgate)
He has 40 rooms Available right now, but they are going fast.

Let’s head to Erie this weekend for another Win!

Mercy Hurst Home Facility: Tullio Field (2,300)

I had planned on staying at the Marriot Court Yard in Erie, (where the team is staying) but I had mix up with cost so we will not be staying there. I have found a few more places with different cost to meet everyone’s needs. I will be sending an email out on Monday by noon for the latest hotel information. I am only booking rooms for Friday night. Oct 19th.
We will start the tailgate (Charger Brunch/lunch) at 11:00.
Connie is waiting for a call back from the Mercyhurst AD on where we will be tailgating.
Directions: To get to Mercyhurst College, Take the Ohio Turnpike east. From Cleveland take 90 Northeast. Continue on 90 into Erie PA. At exit 7 (state Street).Head north on route 97( old French road) at second traffic light the road forks, 97 goes off to the right, stay on 97. Go to the second light (which is 38th street) and turn right. Mercyhurst is about 4 blocks on the right. Follow signs to sports complex and football field.
Charger Notes:
I know we have some injuries on our team right now so please pray that God keeps our team free from injury this week, and bring healing to those already injured.
Our Sympathy goes out to the Drelles Family this week for the Loss of #78Derek’s Drelles Grandmother. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.

Charger Football and Parents weekend !
The Chargers are back in town this weekend and so are the Parents.
Let’s have a great crowd, be loud and have a Charger Victory!
Hillsdale vs Wayne State

The day will start with Hillsdale Parent/Faculty conferences on Saturday morning. This is one of the highlights of Parent Weekend. Here you will have the opportunity to meet with your student's professors to discuss academic progress. (Attached is a Schedule of events)
We will start tailgating at 12:00 noon.
Bring your main dish, beverages, eating utensils & a small dish to pass (under the tent). We'll have our grill, you are welcome to come by and use it. Reminder: Before going into the stadium, please pick up your dish from the "dish to pass" table and store it or dispose of it.
Special Charger notes:
Please stop by and see Connie and me so you can sign another Banner to put in the locker room for next week.
Don't forget to wear your Charger blue & fly your flags high.Larry Nicolet will have the duck tape to fly your flags.
I will be passing out Fences and “D’s” again this week and also shakers to get the Charger spirit rolling.
We will have a parent tunnel when the players enter the field. Meet on the Field at 2:15 pm. Players run out at 2:23 pm (Be There)

This week we Travel to Indianapolis and take on the Greyhounds. Let’s have a large crowd and cheer our chargers on to a great victory.

We will start tailgating at 3:00 pm. Attached is a map showing the tailgate area.
The lot will have some barricades - please move them in and put them neatly in a nice place if you would. The lot number is #14.
( I am sure Larry will take care of the barricade issue.)

Also, the flowers are beautiful and much appreciated.
Recovery is going well, and it was great to be at the win against Michigan Tech!! A Charger victory is the best medicine, yet.
