I hope Mother Nature is good to us this weekend.
Rain or shine, let’s be there and be the best fans in the GLIAC!

This week's tailgate will begin around noon in the gravel/grassy lot located west of the sports complex. Parking is $5.00 per vehicle/$10.00 per motor home. Bring your main dish, beverages, eating utensils and a small dish to pass. If you have grill, bring it. We will have a grill set-up and if you just bring your meat, we will get it cooked for you. The Gridiron Club purchased a tent for tailgating and it will be set up each home game in the tailgate lot. There will be long tables set up under the tent to place your "dish to pass". Trash receptacles will also be provided by the college. Please pick up your dish and dispose of your trash before you leave the tailgate to enter the stadium.

Parent Booster Club: For those of you who purchased a booster club membership ($200.00) you may pick up your pass at the table set up near the ticket booth on game day. Passes will be available at 1:00 PM. This pass will admit 4 to each home game and you will have assigned seating in the VIP section (blue seats). You must show your pass each time you enter the gate.

Tickets: Also, each player is allowed to sign up 4 people to be admitted for free for each home game. These tickets may be picked up at the Hillsdale Will Call window which is now the third window of the ticket booth. You must show I.D. for each individual ticket at the booth. There is no transferring of names, this is a conference rule.
Ticket prices:
$6.00 Adults
$3.00 Students
$2.00 Children 6-12/Senior Citizen 65 and over
Children 5 and under are free
Purchase programs inside the stadium

We will have a welcome table set-up in the tailgate area. Please stop by, get a name tag and other items listed below.

Hillsdale Football Apparel: Lots of cool items available this year. Each item is personalized with your son's jersey number! There is an order form attached to this email. We will also have order forms on Saturday. If you have any questions contact Donna Brown or Marlene Wojcik. Please note that the order cut off date is this Saturday Sept 15th 2007. If you ordered in the spring you can pick up your clothing on Saturday.

Sports buttons: Picture pins are available with your player's handsome mug on them for just $6.00 each.
You can add a dollor and Luann will send them to you.

Rear Window decals: You cannot drive anywhere without sporting a "Hillsdale Charger Football" rear window decal! Show your Charger spirit for just $5.00...see Nancy Rumsey and Connie Stapf to get yours!

Roster Lanyards - The roster is in numerical order with player's name next to the number and their parent's first names next to that.

Spirit Club at Hillsdale - If you pre-ordered shirts that Say "My Charger…OUR CHAMPS" with there football number on them from the Spirit Club at Hillsdale, Anna Ashmore will have your shirts ready for you to pick up and pay for. She will have a table set-up in the tailgate area.

Special Note: Our Second game this year is at Northern Michigan University.
The Game is at 4:00 pm on Sept. 8th.

I have blocked 20 rooms at the Ramada in Marquette for
Friday Night - 9/07/07 and also 12 rooms for Saturday after the game 9/8/2007. The special rate for a double is $89.00 + tax, smoking or non-smoking. Check in time is 3:00 PM, check out is 12:00 pm.

They have an onsite restaurant called Harley’s. It opens up for Breakfast at 7:00 Am. Also there is a Harleys Bar and Lounge for a Charger gathering.

This Hotel is about a mile from the Superior dome.

Please remember to bring your flags into the stadium. We will have a roll of duct tape so that we can fly them on the rail near the Hillsdale locker room.

We also have a banner made this year that the boys will run under before each game. I will be picking some Dads to hold up the Banner each week. We will be making a tunnel onto the field when the players enter the last itme before the game starts. I will inform you of that time on Saturday.
